ONGOING CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW LEGISLATIVE BUILDING
As earlier reported on Ojo LGA Television, that the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government Hon. Rasulu Idowu has commence the construction of a new Council Legislative building within the premises of the local government. The said Legislative edifice is now at about 90% completion.
You will also recall that it was moreso reported that that the law making building was initially designed to house the five 5 Wards Councilor of the Local Government including the administrative head of the department (The Clerk), and his staff. However, Mr. Project in his usual wisdom foresee the future and ordered the readjusting of the architectural design of the nearly completed structure to further accommodate the old eleven 11 wards of the entire local government area.
All as Ojo LGA Television reports is awaiting finishing touches ahead of its official commissioning in couple of days.
LASU INDUSTRIAL TRAINING (IT) STUDENTS XRAY SOME GOVT. DEPT.
As part of their project works before completing their compulsory Industrial Training exercise as a students of Mass Communication. This students from Lagos State University (Ojo), has not only been dedicated to their choice of study, they have as well shown commitment during their 6 weeks stay at the Public Affairs Department of the caring local government. Many thanks to the numero uno and the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government Hon. Rasulu Olushola Idowu who gave the interns the privilege to learn and understand some work area etiquette and few from the art of governance.
Rounding it up on their last project work as interns. The students has successfully document an informative directory content for public use. This as well is a method of practically opening their eyes into the world of vlogging as a quick method of publishing for broadcasters, journalists and others under the umbrella of Mass communication.
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN INSPECTS ONGOING PROJECT
Today, the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government Hon. Rasulu Idowu inspects some ongoing projects within and outside the council Secretariat.
The ongoing vocational center positioned behind one of the council administrative block was the first place of visit, followed by the new Legislative building, expressively, the quantum of progress made so far on the two new buildings is encouraging.
Furthermore, the Chairman and his team visited the just completed Damilda Street opposite the council secretariat to see it’s new look. Damilda Street is now open for public use as usual for thousands who use the road as shortcut in getting to Olojo Drive and Alaba International Market respectively.
Lastly, the former YMD garden undergoing reconstruction is as well gradually rounding up to go live. Recall this platform recently report the garden will now be a relaxation garden where residents and visitors can only sit to relax and share ideas between working hours only unlike being a beer and alcohol joint. The garden will be open for public use soonest with a new brand name.
ALABA INTERNATIONAL ROAD: ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICERS CRUSH DOWN ILLEGAL KIOSK
Yesterday, Tuesday 19th of November, 2024; an Executive Order EO of the Local Government Chairman Hon. Rasulu Idowu was issued to the Enforcement Team of Environmental Services Department , Ojo Local Government led by Santarian Lukmon Kaffo to break down a pre notify illegal metal kiosk (Container) at (Sunny Bust Stop) along Ojo Alaba International Road .
The evacuation of this illegal structure is not to, in any way witch-hunt anyone, traders or business persons carrying out their daily and lawful business activities but to ensure environmental sanity. It is as well to inform all and sundry that the Caring Local Government will continually give Zero Tolerance to any form of public and environmental obstruction and or obstacles.

OBA DAUDU STREET
This is to officially inform the general public in Ojo Local Government and business persons that the construction of the popular Oba Daudu Street Ojo Town has commenced.
The project contractor has moved all construction machineries and as well deploy necessary human resources to site for day to day operations until the project is completed. As at the time of filing this report, the two sides drainage system of the street is being dug to properly first ensure free flow of water and possibly erosion.
This, moreso is a call to caution for the residents of Oba-Daudu Street to take ownership of this very important link road as as a legacy against the collection of cheap monies from containerize trailers who from time to time use the road because the street houses one or two warehouses.
You may also recall that the Executive Chairman Hon. Rasulu Idowu was reported on this platform @OjoLGATelevision that the only way to achieve required traffic result and add beauty to the just completed Shanuolu Lane is to have Oba Daudu Street constructed and link it to Lagos Badagry Expressway. This is indeed a promise made and promise kept as the construction of the said road is now ongoing.
